This is not a rigid formal document. It's a shared understanding between us, crafted to make sure every soft light moment you archive on Glox stays warm, safe, and fully yours.
Effective starting June 22, 2026
Glox exists to hold all the tiny, glowing moments that slip through the rest of your photo library: the 10 minutes of morning sun that hits your coffee mug exactly right, the flicker of dinner candlelight that makes your friend's face look like it's wrapped in honey, that unexpected golden hour glow through your kitchen window that makes even the dish soap bottle look magical. We built this space to honor those moments, no hoops, no sign ups, no nonsense.
Your Moments Belong Fully To You
✨ Every photo you snap or upload, every mood tag you write, every tiny light note you jot down, every scene profile you make for your favorite couch, your grandma's dining room, your office desk—all of that content is 100% yours, forever.
✨ Glox never asks you to make an account, share your email, or hand over any personal identifiers to start archiving your light moments the second you open the app. All your saved content stays stored locally on your own device, by default.
✨ We will never scan, scrape, or pull your private light archives to use for any purpose outside of running the app directly on your phone. We don't send your golden hour photos to any third parties, we don't use your candlelight notes to train algorithms, no exceptions.
✨ You can export every single one of your collected moments, full timeline, and curated themed collections whenever you want, in a standard format that you can save to your own personal hard drive or cloud storage outside the app.
Kind Ways To Use Your Glox Archive
We built Glox to be a gentle space for everyone to celebrate light, so we just ask a few small favors of all our users:
💛 Don't save or upload content that would hurt or invade the privacy of other people. This app is for warm, gentle moments—we don't want anything that makes someone else feel unsafe or unwelcome here.
💛 Don't try to dig into the app's code to break it, flood it with spam content, or make modified versions that ruin the soft, luminous experience for other people who use it.
💛 If you share a shot of your Glox timeline or your curated collection online, feel free to! It makes our whole team smile to see people showing off their favorite light moments. We just ask you don't misrepresent Glox as something it isn't.
💛 If you spot a bug that's messing up how your sunbeam photos display or breaking your side-by-side moment comparisons, let us know! We're a tiny team that cares very much about getting every detail of the light experience right.
Our Little Promises To You
🌞 We will never interrupt you mid-snap of a perfect evening glow with a random pop-up ad. There are zero third-party ads in Glox, and there never will be.
🌞 We will never hide any core feature of the light timeline, scene profiles, or collection tools behind a paywall. The full core experience of archiving your soft light moments will always be free for everyone who downloads the app.
🌞 We will never change the iconic rose-and-amber luminous aesthetic that makes Glox feel like stepping into a warm sunbeam. All future design updates will stay true to that soft, warm glow you downloaded the app for.
🌞 If we ever need to sunset the app for any unexpected reason, we will give you at least 6 months of advance notice, plus a fully functional export tool so you can save every single one of your archived moments before it goes away. We will never delete your local stored data remotely, ever.
Shared Creative Content Note
The default demo photos, sample light tags, ambient color gradients, and original illustrated assets that ship with the app when you first download it are original creative work made by the Glox team. You are welcome to screenshot them, share them, or use them as phone backgrounds for your own personal use—we just ask you don't repackage or sell those assets as your own standalone product.
Updates To This Pact
If we ever add new features to Glox, like AI light suggestion tools, shared public light timelines, or cross-device sync (if we ever roll that out), we might add small new gentle guidelines to this pact to match the new experience. We will never sneak changes in without telling you: any update will pop up as a soft glowing amber card on your app home screen the next time you open it, with all the new changes highlighted clearly for you to read.
